Hey you guys!! I hope ya’ll had a great Easter! I am currently working on which styles and brands I will write blog about! As I received a great message from a great friend of mine, Danyl, which is one of the most lit hypebeasts in Malta, I decided to dedicate this post to him and all the fellow hypebeasts out there!
I know he loves Yeezy’s so this post is all about all the different styles of the Yeezy Boost 350 V2! As I was searching I came across 10 different styles, I didn’t think there were that much and every one of them has a different strip colour or else a total different look!
Let us start from some styles that were brought to us back in 2016!
The Copper Yeezy Boost 350 V2 offers a different take on the widely acclaimed adidas Yeezy. The popular shoe maintained its hold on sneaker culture with a trio of releases – red, green, and copper colorways, each released on November 23, 2016. Here, we highlight the quirkiest option, the “Copper” colour way, featuring the time-tested combination of a black woven Primeknit upper, a matching TPU midsole that covers comforting Boost cushioning, and a copper stripe that runs from heel to toe.
Here, we highlight the clean “Red” colour way, featuring the winning combination of a black woven Primeknit upper, a TPU midsole that covers comforting Boost cushioning, and a vibrant red stripe that runs from heel to toe. The patented “SPLY-350” message appears throughout the aforementioned stripe.
Here, we highlight the “Green” colour way, which earns its name from sporting an almost-olive hue. It’s constructed with the time-tested combination of a black woven Primeknit upper, a matching TPU midsole that covers comforting Boost cushioning, and a green stripe that runs from heel to toe.
With the Yeezy craze comfortably resting at critical mass, the adidas snuck in the Yeezy Oreo release to close out 2016 with a bang. Similar to the trio of colour ways that hit retailers in November 2016, this Yeezy Boost 350 V2 features the winning combination of a black woven Primeknit upper and a matching TPU sole that covers Boost cushioning. However, the Yeezy V2 Oreo features a white stripe and all of the fixings.
This first Yeezy sighting of 2017 is this adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 (CP9652), affectionately referred to as the “Black Red” colour way also known as “BRED“Anchored by a woven black Primeknit upper and a matching TPU midsole (that covers Boost cushioning), the shoe features a tonal black look that’s offset by red “SPLY-350” messaging in reverse on the side panel. The stripe the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 model is known for does not appear, but that doesn’t take away from the overall freshness of the shoe.
The Yeezy Zebra shifted the game. Before its release, the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 had mostly relied on its functional silhouette – a winning combination of a woven Primeknit upper and a full length Boost midsole wrapped in a rupper TPU casing – as opposed to ambitious colour way options. But that changed with this extremely sought after Yeezy Boost 350 V2 “Zebra” release. Upon hitting retailers on February 25th, 2017, it became clear just how limited these shoes actually are.
Adidas Yeezy madness was as strong as ever during the Holiday 2017 season, with not one, not two, but three colour ways of the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 dropping between November and Christmas. Here is the colour way that’s arguably the best of the three, the “Blue Tint” version, featuring an icy light blue upper with the “Zebra” stripe pattern across the Primeknit. The Blue Tint Yeezy will no doubt go down as an all-time classic colour way for the Yeezy Boost 350 v2, with a perfect balance. This is also Danyl’s most wanted sneaker!
With Holiday 2017 on the horizon, adidas satisfied public demand for a new Yeezy Boost 350 V2 by releasing the eye-catching “Semi Frozen Yellow” colour way. The pair is said to be the most limited Yeezy V2 ever. Not to mention that it’s easily the line’s most ambitiously designed release since the “Zebra.” The Semi Frozen Yellow hue is offset by black accents woven throughout the Primeknit upper. The “SPLY-350” messaging appears in a striking red look. and the glow-in-the-dark sole detail.
One of two new Yeezy colour ways which came out in November 2017, the “Beluga 2.0” continues the lineage of the inaugural Yeezy Boost 350 V2. However, the Primeknit upper on this version features a true grey look, as opposed to the Steel Grey hue seen on the first pair. The vibrant orange-ish Beluga stripe from the original is also replaced with a tonal grey that seamlessly blends into the design. Dark Solid Grey woven throughout the Primeknit and reversed “SPLY-350” messaging in Bold Orange offer.
Kanye West sent the sneaker world into a frenzy once again with the Yeezy Beluga, version two of his renowned collaboration with adidas. Staying on brand, the shoe was given the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 title. The inaugural Yeezy Boost 350 V2 “Beluga” colour way introduces a slightly modified silhouette and sole. Steel Grey and Beluga colours are interwoven throughout the Primeknit upper, which for the first time sports a vibrant orange stripe (technically in Solar Red) from heel to toe.
See ya next time!
